28Media Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Today, I’m celebrating the one year anniversary of 28MEDIA. Though it hardly seems possible, July 7, 2005 was my first official day of self-employment…
Having put in a lot of time getting ready to take the freelance plunge, I actually had very little on my plate that first day. So I sat and stared at my computer screen for 14 straight hours, frantically checking for new email and wondering if I had made the right decision. Luckily, everything seems to have fallen into place nicely, and I’ve never been happier.
Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of working with great clients and partenering with many talented agencies and freelancers. A very special thanks goes to all of them for helping make this first year such a success. And thanks to all the friends and colleagues who have supported me with referrals, advice and moral support.
Here’s to another great year, and hopefully many more, ahead!
