5 Years And Counting
July 07, 2010
It’s almost impossible to believe, but it was 5 years ago today that I started 28 Media.
I woke up early on July 7, 2005. I rushed to my computer, and then I sat there – for 14 hours – without a thing to do but click the Check Mail button.
Luckily, business picked up quickly. With a few clients, and a few referrals, and a lot of hustle, I was able to build the business you know today.
When I started the company, I stated a simple goal: to build clean, compliant websites for clients of all sizes. With the help of some amazing friends, colleagues and clients, I’ve been able to do just that.
To celebrate, I’m offering a 5% discount on all new projects for the month of July.
Simply mention this offer, and the discount is yours. Tell your friends, and the discount is theirs. And their friends and theirs… it’s my way of saying thank you to everyone who made these 5 years possible.

Protecting Your Online Identity
October 13, 2009
On October 20, I’ll be leading a panel discussion called “Protecting Your Online Identity” at the Greater Richmond Chamber’s InVision Chesterfield event. I’ll be joined by Chris Gatewood, Candace Nicolls, and Rick Whittington to discuss both offensive andf defensive techniques for using social media and online tools to build and maintain your online identity.
The event is free for Chamber members. I hope to see you there!
Next stop... Nebraska?
May 06, 2009
That’s right… bright and early tomorrow, I’m headed for Omaha, Nebraska. I’ll be attending the Big Omaha conference, a one-day meeting with some of the web’s most creative thinkers.
An honor just to be nominated...
