What does a website cost?
That’s hard to say… the price varies depending on what you need the site to do. Contact us and we’ll be happy to talk you through the proposal process and provide a quote.
How long will it take?
This will also vary based on the size and complexity of your website. We’ll negotiate a project schedule as one of the first steps of the project.
Do you offer web hosting?
We don’t. Instead, we can refer you to one of preferred vendors and handle the setup and installation of your site for you.
How about a domain name?
Domain name registration is often included in the price of your hosting package, but if not, we like GoDaddy.
Do you do logo design?
We do. We can certainly include a logo as part of your web design project.
Do you do print design?
We don’t. Print design is an entirely different skill set, and we don’t have the experience to do it well.
What is your payment schedule?
For all projects, we require deposit to get started and the project balance upon completion.
For smaller projects, a 50% deposit and a 50% balance payment will do it. For more complex projects, we might consider 33%-33%-34% or 25%-25%-25%-25%. We’ll discuss and agree on this before we get started.
Where are you located?
We’re based in Richmond, VA, but have worked with clients in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, New York, Texas, the Pacific Northwest, and elsewhere. A face-to-face meeting can be nice, but with phone, email and online collaboration tools, it’s no longer a requirement!
What does the 28 mean?
Ahh, the ol’ 28. When brainstorming company names, I ran through dozens of options and kept coming back to 28. My birthday and wedding anniversary are on the 28th, my high school lacrosse number was 28… in short, 28 has always been a lucky number for me. (And the domain name was available!)
